Remember the Nations Sunday
Mark your calendars for this exciting Sunday filled with rich teaching, stories from the mission field, and a special children’s event. Special guest Michael Oh will encourage us from God’s Word, and you will hear from and meet many PCPC missionaries serving around the world. Join us for a day of teaching, worship, and prayer as we encourage one another to remember our call to reach the nations.
Schedule
- Sunday Morning Services, 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 am
Dr. Michael Oh will preach in all Sunday morning services. Missionaries will share their stories in Sunday Morning Communities.
- Sunday School Lunches, 12:15–1:30 pm
Sunday Morning Communities will host missionaries for lunch.
- World Justice Shoppe, 4:30-5:30 pm
We hear stories of horrible injustices like human trafficking all over the world. Have you ever wondered how you can help fight injustice? One deterrent to human trafficking is gainful employment. As part of Remember the Nations Sunday, Women’s Ministries and World Missions have teamed up to launch the World Justice Shoppe, a place where you can purchase products from trusted organizations and PCPC partners providing a just work environment for at-risk women. The World Justice Shoppe will be open from 4:30–5:30 pm and again following the evening worship service. Products made available are handmade by women in Bangkok, Thailand, and northern India.
- Sunday Evening Service, 5:30–7:30 pm
We will fast from our traditional international dinner and join together for Michael Oh’s final sermon at the evening event, a time of worship, prayer for the nations, and testimonies from the mission field. Register for childcare by calling 214-706-2797 by Thursday, January 19.
- Kids’ Adventure in Missions, 5:30–7:30 pm
Children ages kindergarten through fifth grade will share a meal together and enjoy a time of worship, teaching, crafts, and experiencing different cultures. Pizza and drinks provided.
Register for Kids' Adventure in Missions by Monday, January 16, 4:00 pm:
